Projects:
Fort York Heritage Conservation District Study and Plan

A Heritage District Study and Plan for Fort York that deals with the conservation of nationally significant resources from the War of 1812 and remnants of Toronto's founding landscape. This Cultural Heritage Landscape has had many layers added since 1793.

The need for a new plan was driven by enlarging the site, and the rapidly changing context of the Fort, including the new visitor centre, as well as changes to the Ontario Heritage Act.

The Study and Plan pioneered work in protection of heritage attributes, viewsheds, landforms and archaeological features both within the study boundaries and in associated adjacent lands.
